The 6 in. Super Lizard is the second largest of three lizard baits that includes the 4.5 in. Lizard and the 9 in. Big Hawg Lizard. The lizard replicates a lizard, a salamander or a Water Dog (Mud Puppy) that has fallen in the water, and fish hate them all. The Super Lizard is an excellent bait to fish in the spring time during spawning season because it is perceived as a threat to eggs and fry when it enters the bed of a spawning fish. Fish hate lizards so much, they will react to kill them just to remove the threat they present, even when fish aren't feeding.
